The Nagaoka Fireworks Festival is a fireworks festival that is held on August 2nd and 3rd of every year, with the basic theme of "Memorial, Reconstruction, and Prayer for Peace."
This fireworks display is a very famous fireworks display in Japan, and attracts more than 1 million people every year. However, it has been decided to cancel the Nagaoka Fireworks Festival this year(2020) to prevent the spread of COVID-19. It is very disappointing.
